What is Facebook Pixel?

The Facebook pixel is an analytics tool that allows you to measure the effectiveness of your advertising by understanding the actions people take when they visit your website. Your Facebook pixel uses information from your website to understand and categorize the actions people take on your site. These actions are called “events,” and they can be used to track the effectiveness of your advertising. This improves the effectiveness of your advertising, and results in much higher ROI for your advertising spend.

Get started with Facebook Pixel

Installing a Facebook pixel is a simple three-step process:

  1. Social Kapture creates a Facebook pixel (contact clients@socialkapture.com to get started).

  2. Set up events* to track the actions that matter to your property.

  3. Your team installs it on your website.

There’s already a Pixel on our site, we don’t need another right?

Many of the industry leading website developers may have already placed a tracking pixel on your website. However, we don’t have access to that data. Placing our own pixel on the site allows us to streamline the data into our advertising campaigns and optimize the ads for the specific conversion actions. Without it we cannot give you any detailed conversion actions such as True Leads, Applications or Leases driven by ads.

What happens when more than one Pixel is installed?

Multiple tracking codes don’t compete against each other, they simply fire in order of where they are placed in the code. If another vendor is unsure about placing additional Pixels we are happy to work with them and provide you with a different code that will include the code that they‘ve already placed on the site.
