5 Years of Kreating Magic: Diego's Social Kapture Journey
Time flies when you're creating amazing work! Today, we're celebrating Diego Velazco’s 5-year anniversary at Social Kapture. His undeniable dedication and unmatched creativity have helped bring our agency's vision to life.
The Journey Began
Diego joined Social Kapture in September 2021 as a Social Media Graphic Designer. Since then, he has mastered his design skills, helped transform Social Kapture’s branding, and settled into his new role as Creative Lead.
Key Milestones
Throughout their time at Social Kapture, Diego has:
Transformed SK’s visual identity by building a new logo system, a complete modular icon system, and a full brand color and typographic system, all packaged in a 60+ page brand book.
Spearheaded a website overhaul and designed a new and improved version.
Created our custom-coded client dashboard from scratch, giving him the chance to refresh his UX/UI skills and learn new software to build an industry-level design in Figma.

From social media graphic designer to graphic designer marketing specialist, then to senior graphic designer, and now to Creative Lead. As a creative mentor, I take pride in teaching the rest of the team how to design strategically, because a beautiful image is just that if it isn't presented to an audience in a strategic and calculated way. Collaborating with and guiding team members through the creative process, including mentoring our newest designer on the marketing team.
