Halfway through the year, we like to turn the lens on ourselves. Social Kapture spends every day helping multifamily communities grow their social presence, so we figured it was worth sharing what growing our own brand channels has taught us these last six months, and what it means for yours.
The Numbers
On our own platforms, we saw consistent month-over-month follower growth across LinkedIn and Instagram. We participated in over 30 social media trends, keeping pace with the platforms in real time. On the blog side, we published 30-plus posts with 10 different team members contributing as authors.
Follower growth is just one part of the puzzle for us, just as it is for the communities we manage. Our goal isn't just to post; it's to create content that resonates, keeps us at the forefront of the multifamily industry, and showcases our team's expertise. The same principle applies to any community's page: growth means nothing without content people actually want to engage with.
What Resonated
Looking back across the first half of the year, a clear pattern emerged: content that felt personal outperformed content that felt purely promotional. Posts celebrating team and company milestones consistently drove some of our strongest engagement, a good reminder that audiences connect with moments that feel human, not just polished marketing.
On the trend side, posts that gave a more personal, playful look behind the scenes tended to pull the most views. It reinforced something we already believed: authenticity resonates as much as, if not more than, a highly produced post.
Blogs and Thought Leadership
Our blog content continued to be a major part of our thought leadership strategy this year, with over 30 blogs published by 10 different team members. The topics that performed best had one thing in common: they gave readers real insight into where the multifamily marketing industry is headed, not just what to post, but why it matters.
It's a good reminder for any community's content strategy too. Audiences aren't just looking for content; they're looking for perspective that helps them understand the bigger picture and stay ahead of it.
What's Next
If the first half of 2026 taught us anything, it's that consistency, creativity, and the ability to adapt matter for the communities we support and us. We'll keep sharing the tips and trends multifamily marketers can put to work right away. When you're ready to go deeper, that's where partnering with us comes in: building the strategy behind the tips, made specifically for your community
